Modernized 1939 Marconi Radio

This is my second post-retirement project: a modern version  of a 1939 Canadian Marconi AM radio. It is a genuine vintage radio on the outside, but completely changed on the inside to replace the original tube circuitry with modern electronics and audio. Instead of AM, it now can play:
  • FM radio
  • Bluetooth audio
  • Apple AirPlay
  • Web radio streams (any kind of streaming audio)
  • Stored audio (MP3 files uploaded to the unit)
Internally, it runs off a Raspberry Pi computer and an Arduino Pro Mini microcontroller. It connects to WiFi and has an internal web server so it can be controlled from any browser on the local network.
